Bring your clothes back to life and have fun doing it! In this relaxed, hands-on sewing repair lesson, you’ll learn easy, practical mending skills to fix seams, hems, holes, and everyday wear and tear. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try. We’ll focus on simple techniques you can use again and again at home, whether you’re patching your favorite jeans or rescuing a well-loved shirt. By the end, you’ll feel confident repairing your own items and helping others too—saving money, cutting down on waste, and turning “broken” into “good as new” (or even better).
After purchasing a class pass, Jane Alexys will contact you with a booking link and schedule a brief 15-minute introductory call to discuss your goals and create a custom lesson plan.
Lessons are taught on a domestic sewing machine or by hand. You’re welcome to bring your own machine if you’d like to learn on the equipment you use at home.
All supplies are provided at the studio. If you have a specific project in mind, I’m happy to help connect you with resources for materials.
Lessons are offered in English or French (with the occasional bit of Franglais), and tea and light refreshments are provided.
