By using our site or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website and our services.

1. General Information

All items sold on this website are handmade with care. Due to the nature of handmade products, slight variations in color, size, or texture may occur and are part of what makes each piece unique.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.

Section 2: Anti-Oppression & Community Safety

1. Framework: This business operates under an anti-oppression framework. By using our services, you agree to uphold a culture of respect, equity and tolerance. We acknowledge that digital and physical spaces are not neutral and often replicate world -wide inequities.

2. Prohibited Behaviour: Users are prohibited from engaging in any behaviour that promotes or facilitates discrimination, harassment, or systemic oppression. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of coded language, the promotion of exclusionary ideologies, or the dismissal of lived experiences regarding systemic harm.

3. Enforcement & Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate the spirit of this framework. Our decisions are guided by a commitment to the safety of those most vulnerable to systemic harm.

Atelier Galaxia operates with a commitment to the rights, safety, and dignity of women, the LGBTQIA2+ community, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). By accessing our services or engaging in a business relationship with us, you acknowledge and agree to uphold these values of equity and inclusion. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to any individual or entity that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or systemic hostility toward marginalized groups.

Any conduct—whether internal or external to the platform—that contradicts our commitment to anti-oppression may result in the immediate termination of your account or service agreement without refund.

3. Orders & Payments

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars and are subject to change without notice.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been received in full.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or errors in pricing or product information.

4. Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Processing times may vary due to the handmade nature of our products. Estimated shipping times are provided for convenience but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers.

5. Returns & Exchanges

I am happy to help if something isn’t quite right. Please reach out to ateliergalaxia@protonmail.com if you wish to request an exchange or return if it meets the conditions outlined below:

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.

  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer for any items eligible for return.

  • For orders made by customers outside of Montréal, returns must be sent by mail with tracking to ensure safe delivery. The tracking number

  • If it’s easier, we’re happy to email you a return shipping label (the cost will be deducted from your refund).

  • In-person return requests are welcome, after your return request is approved, you may come to the studio in person in Montreal (5333 Ave. Casgrain, Montreal, QC)

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Because custom pieces are made just for you, custom or personalized orders are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out to me as soon as possible with photos so we can make it right. Please send an email to ateliergalaxia@protonmail.com.

Refund Request Conflict in relation to Section 2 of Terms and Conditions

By accessing our services or engaging in a business relationship with us, you acknowledge and agree to uphold these values of equity and inclusion. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to any individual or entity that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or systemic hostility toward marginalized groups.

By completing a purchase at Atelier Galaxia, you acknowledge and agree to our Terms and Conditions, including our Anti-Oppression Framework. Agreement is a prerequisite for checkout. Because our services and items are contingent upon mutual alignment with these standards, Atelier Galaxia reserves the right to decline refunds or terminate service agreements without reimbursement should a user choose to rescind their agreement to these terms after a transaction is finalized.

6. Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom or personalized items are made specifically for you and are final sale. These items are not returnable, exchangeable, or refundable.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within a reasonable time after delivery with photos so we can assist you.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including photos, designs, logos, text, and graphics, is the property of this business and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products. All products are provided “as is” and are intended for their stated use only.

10. Privacy
